Polls will open February 2nd, 2022 at 9am via an anonymous, unique ballot sent to your uleth email via ULFA’s Survey Monkey account. Polls will close at 9pm on February 3rd.
According to Locke Spencer, ULFA’s Chief Negotiator, “As we have seen at Concordia University of Edmonton and the University of Manitoba, we can reach an agreement. It just requires an employer prepared to bargain in good faith on these important issues.”
It was only after the strong positive strike vote that things began to change for CUEFA. The administration agreed to the Union’s proposal on workload days after the vote. They dropped demands for reduction in job security one day after the strike began. They agreed to submit salary demands to binding arbitration a few days after that.
