In an email to the University community on Dec. 22, 2021, President Mike Mahon announced that most courses at the University of Lethbridge will be offered online from Jan 5 through Jan. 21, 2022, in response to the growing threat of the Omicron COVID virus. This change was made together with the Universities of Calgary and Alberta.
This email contains important information for the small number of ULFA Members who are not currently vaccinated against COVID-19; are only partially vaccinated against COVID-19; or have not reported their vaccination status to the Board via the ULethbridge safe app.
Under the agreement, ULFA Members can choose to move courses online for two weeks or less without seeking approval, provided they provide an appropriate rationale to their chairs or deans after the move has been made.
