On March 28, 2024, the ULFA Negotiating Team and Executive issued notice to commence bargaining to the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors.
This notice follows ratification of ULFA’s bargaining mandate at our Fall General Meeting in Dec. 2023 and extensive discussion and consultation with ULFA membership and committees, including the Bargaining Resource Committee.
Information on the public sector collective bargaining process in Alberta is available here and here. We received an initial response from the Board on April 2, 2024 and are identifying meeting dates. We anticipate having an initial meeting within the next 30 days.
